# 〈狐狸與葡萄〉（The Fox and the Grapes）

One day, a hungry fox wandered around looking for food.

Suddenly, he noticed bunches of ripe grapes hanging from a vine.

The grapes looked large and delicious, making the fox eager to eat them.

The fox jumped up to reach the grapes, but he could not get them.

He tried again and again, but still failed.

Finally, exhausted and out of breath, the fox gave up.

Before leaving, he said, “Those grapes are probably sour anyway. I don't want them.”

With that, the fox walked away as if he did not care.

In truth, the fox was only making excuses to comfort himself.

“What we cannot obtain is not necessarily worthless.”
